Favre to the Jets Puts A Bow On Jay Glazer's Impressive Year


If you haven't heard yet, Brett Favre was traded to the New York Jets late last night, as originally reported by Jay Glazer of FOX Sports. Glazer has had quite the year of scooping pretty much every other NFL reporter.

Some of his highlights:

- In general, 'Spygate,' but more specifically, somehow got a copy of the Jets signals that the Patriots had taped and turned into league officials
- Reported before the Redskins-Bills game that Washington would start the game with only 10 defenders in honor of Sean Taylor; Even coach Joe Gibbs didn't know about it
- Broke the news that Brett Favre was retiring
- Announced that Michael Strahan would retire just weeks before camps started
- Before anyone else, not only had the news that Favre flip-flopped on retiring before the draft, but also reported that the Vikings had tampered with Green Bay's QB
