On last night's Pardon the Interuption, Boston Globe columnist Bob Ryan (filling in for Tony Kornheiser) said, "I gave up on summer basketball 25 years ago -- it stinks! It's for absolute nutcase people -- no one should go to a summer league game!"
At first, I completely agreed with him -- the NBA summer league is pretty pointless. But then I saw that Awful Announcing had a video of Dante and Galante, Orlando Magic podcasters who are calling the summer league action, and suddenly, boring, meaningless games became must-see TV.
