Dr. Tom Hartsfield is a physicist and Associate Editor to RealClearScience. His writing translates abstruse topics in physics, astronomy and mathematics into plain English. He has taught university courses and performed in a physics circus for elementary school children. He holds a PhD in physics from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor's degree from New College of Florida. He is currently conducting research in Los Alamos NM.
