49ers Fire Coordinator; Coach Next?

Shortly after the end of Sunday's 31-10 loss to the Chiefs, a group of glum 49ers coaches boarded their press-box elevator, going (appropriately) down.

A minute later, Jimmy Raye came out of the visiting team's booth and trudged into another elevator. He looked whatever is glummer than glum. He rode down alone. A portent of things to come?

Monday the 49ers fired Raye, the offensive coordinator for one-plus seasons.
