Colleges Need NFL's Help With Agents

Most pro sports agents are a credit to the profession. They play by the rules, are mindful of their client's interests. Their mission is to methodically broaden their stable of athletes by establishing a track record of sustained success and trust.

And then there are the few unscrupulous agents, the ones looking to get into the sports arena and realize riches for themselves by any possible means. They're not businessmen but hunters preying on naivete and financial insecurity. They bend the rules and hope their tainted methods escape detection. They're willing to risk the reputations of the athletes they represent to further their own financial gains.
