NCAA's Overdue Crackdown on Dirty Programs

How refreshing to discover that the enforcement arm of the NCAA, once about as aggressive as Paul Blart the mall cop, is launching investigations of potentially dirty programs at the rate of once an hour. Or so it seems. The roll call includes West Virginia, MIami (Fla.), Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, this after probes that buried USC in probation hell and placed Michigan in the unusual role of defending its integrity.
