OT Loss Aside, Celtics Aren't New Bruins

Similarities can be good or bad. In the case of the Celtics, they are both.

Their return to Amway Arena tonight for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals reminded several readers of the most recent tragic circumstance on the Boston sports scene - the unseemly demise of the Bruins, who led the Philadelphia Flyers 3-0 in games, but dropped the next four after losing the potential sweep game in, dare we say it, overtime.

Obviously, the Celtics couldn’t complete a sweep either Monday night, losing in overtime to the Orlando Magic, 96-92. Now they return to a building that, like its chief occupant, appeared set for demise just a few days back, and so we fret.
