NCAA Gets New President, But Faces Same Issues

The new president of the NCAA, Mark Emmert, has a pretty easy job as he takes over the leadership of the great monolith down the street:

All he has to do is put the genie back in the bottle.

No problem, right?

Emmert, the fifth leader in the organization's history, has walked into an impossible job that offers all the challenges and none of the authority necessary to address those challenges.
