Playoff Win Would Vindicate Jones

Don’t know if we should believe a word of it, but it was intriguing this week when Jerry Jones claimed he was no different than the rest of us.

To hear Jerry tell it, his confidence in himself as the boss of bosses "football guy" in Cowboy Nation was at the lowest of ebbs as the team’s charter flight lifted out of Philadelphia on that one particular December evening a year ago.

Maybe the critics were right after all, Jones said he was thinking, suggesting that his "confidence was shaken."

Just speaking for myself, I’d say "shaken" is a very mild description when defining...
