There's no escaping a date at the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl for Michigan or Michigan State if both finish 6-6.

It has been George Perles' dream since giving birth to the former Motor City Bowl 12 years ago that he eventually could attract one of the state's two Big Ten representatives. Such a scenario has been considered a nightmare in East Lansing. In Ann Arbor, nobody really thought about it because during those halcyon days of regular 9-3 seasons, a short, humbling trip to Detroit wasn't even a remote possibility.
