The Yankees always say they don't act or react because of what the Red Sox have done, but there are plenty of clues to how to beat the Angels in the AL Championship Series lodged in Boston's loss to the Halos in the division series.
"In some ways, the Yankees ought to follow the Red Sox - but not hit like them - to beat the Angels," said a major-league scout who watched the series. The Red Sox scored seven runs - six in the final game - and had just 15 hits in getting swept by the Angels.
