One Lion Never Made Trip, One Never Returned

When he first heard, Chuck Darby was struck by dual bolts of despair and confusion. He could not believe what was happening to his friend and teammate that late-February weekend off the coast of Florida. And he could not fully fathom how he averted the fate himself.

Former Lion Corey Smith was lost at sea, never to be found, on a fishing trip that Darby was invited to join. It's a twist he still contemplates daily.
